Med-X Young Investigator Awards

Med-X is a new international journal published by Springer Nature that focuses on groundbreaking papers across the areas of biomedical engineering with the aim of transforming modern medicine. Our goal is to establish Med-X as a leading publication, alongside Nature Biomedical Engineering, serving as a platform to communicate interdisciplinary breakthrough discoveries and innovations in biomedical engineering.

In light of our commitment to advancing the field of biomedical engineering, we are organizing the "Med-X Young Investigator Award" special issue every year. This special issue intends to showcase the outstanding work of researchers in the early stages of their independent careers, presenting the next generation of scientists at the forefront of the international community in all its diversity, in recognition of their potential to influence the future directions of biomedical engineering research.

About the Award

Each year, the Med-X Young Investigator Award honors one exceptional young researcher (under 45) who has demonstrated significant achievements and innovation in biomedical engineering research. All Young Investigators are individually nominated by our Editorial Board members in recognition of their potential to influence the future directions of their respective fields of research. We therefore invite you to submit a Research or Review Article on a topic of your choice which, if it meets the criteria for publication in Med-X, would be included in the annual "Med-X Young Investigator Award" special issue and highlighted on the Med-X journal website.
